Dr Levadoux obtained his medical degree in 1989 from the French Military Medical School of Bordeaux, France

In 1990 he became a medical doctor for a large military diving centre in a military harbor in Brest, France

Between 1993 and 1999 he was a resident in Orthopedic Surgery at Marseille University, France.

He was certified in orthopedic surgery in 2000.

At the same time he became an Orthopedic Surgeon at the Percy French  Teaching Military Hospital, where he has participated in the development and testing of the Percy-Fx, a new external fixation device for complex traumas of upper and lower limbs.

In 2003 he came back to Toulon harbor to work in the Teaching Naval hospital St Anne in the department of Orthopedic Surgery and Trauma Surgery as Trauma Surgeon, Orthopedic Surgeon and Hand and Upper Limb Surgeon.

In 2007 he became Professor of the Val de Grâce in Upper limd , Hand surgery and reconstruction surgery.

In 2008 he became chief of Department of Orthopedic Surgery Hand and Upper Limb and reconstruction Surgery in this Hospital.   

He was retired from the Navy 11 years ago.
He is now chief of department of upper Limb surgery in the Private Hospital Toulon Hyeres in Toulon. He uses to practice only Hand Surgery, upper limb, Hand, Wrist and Elbow surgery.

He has been Course director for 15 years for basic and advanced Wrist Arthroscopy Courses in IRCAD Strasbourg.

Between 2000 and 2006 he has participated to several military medical operations overseas: Tchad, Russian Georgia, Ivory Cost, Afghanistan, Kosovo.

He belongs to 7  Medico-Surgical Societies:

  • Société Française de Chirurgie Orthopédique et Traumatologie, (SOFCOT)
  • Société Française de Chirurgie de la Main (SFCM,GEM)
  • Société Francophone d’Arthroscopie (SFA)
  • Société Française de Chirurgie d’Urgence (SFCU)
  • Société Française de Médecine d’Armée.

He has participated to several surgical meetings in Europe and in the World and also as faculty to several Wrist Surgery and Wrist Arthroscopy Courses.
